As we celebrate our 31st Anniversary at WestCoast Magazine, we can’t ignore the many changes that have occurred over the years. We knew we would be remiss if we overlook the business and community leaders that made it happen.
We asked you. our readers, for recommendations of the best community and business leaders that you felt made a difference. In our instructions, we made it clear these prominent leaders could, but did not have to, hold any official position of authority. We asked that you provide us with names that you felt gave structure to our society and helped our communities grow and develop into the cities they are today.
Well, you shouldn’t be surprised that we received an overwhelming response. Therefore, we might have a few more than 31 Community and Business Leaders Everyone Should Know featured, but who’s counting anyway? Due to space limitations, we couldn’t list the non-profits they’re involved with, nor the number of boards they sit on. However, what we can tell you is these individuals are committed to serving.
They may never be celebrated in history books, but their contributions have greatly impacted our communities. These men and women on our list, have constantly pushed the standards to leave the world a better place. We applaud all of them.
