Everyone knows how important it is to make a good first impression, but amongst the first impressions that will be made and irrevocably established in this life, there is none more consequential than our first brush with education. From the first moment we meet education, we begin to make conclusions about ourselves that will determine preferences, assumed insufficiencies, and even potential vocations. Often overlooked in early education, foundational brain training skills, as well as social and emotional intelligence, fosters cognitive growth and performance that is invaluable for academic advancement and vocational success. These skills allow children to actualize their innate potential throughout their education and beyond. Once a firm foundation has been laid, parents can be sure that their child can confidently interpret, structure, and store information. When a good first impression has been made, your child can build on a solid educational foundation.

Upon that foundation, children will have the opportunity to build with differentiated learning strategies and materials. Brain Zone Reading and Tutoring Center exists to provide accessible academic enrichment for all learners, whether they’re early athletes that never stop moving or artists that pass the time finger painting. Traditional academic content focusing on reading and writing will be enhanced by STEM education, an approach to teaching and learning that integrates the content and skills of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. There is nothing that children cannot achieve when they are properly equipped; thus, we seek to test the boundaries with a kinder-prep class that provides entertaining and enriching academic challenges.

Brain Zone has partnered with Frog Street Press, Inc. to offer families this revolutionary approach to kinder-prep, one that focuses as much on brain training skills (such as information processing, memory and attention) as it does on academic skills (such as reading, writing, and mathematics). This innovation ensures that early learners will not only be introduced to basic scholastic subjects, but that they will build their subject knowledge on a solid scholastic foundation.

Over the last 15 years, Brain Zone has established itself as a leader in educational services, offering brain-based solutions to children K-12. We’ve designed personalized, one-on-one programs for thousands of struggling students and seen them develop into confident achievers. We have reassured worried parents with the truth that it is never too late for effective education; now, we add to that certainty this: it is never too early. Self-image and perceived limitations are formed from the moment children begin their education, which makes getting it right more than important; it makes it essential.
