ALL NEW Apollo 11 Special Exhibit

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing, Apollo 11: One Giant Leap for Mankind is opening at the Nixon Library! The all-new interactive special exhibit opens April 29, 2019 and runs through January 12, 2020.

Come see Neil Armstrong’s X-15 flight suit, moon rocks from the lunar surface, Buzz Aldrin’s penlight from the mission, and personal items on loan from the Armstrong and Collins families.

The exhibit’s originally-created, 360-degree virtual reality experience will transport visitors to the lunar surface on July 20, 1969, to see and hear Neil Armstrong’s “one giant leap for mankind.”

Apollo 11: One Giant Leap for Mankind is included with admission to the Nixon Library. Tickets can be purchased online here.

The Nixon Library is open seven days a week, Mondays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM.
