Sit, Stay and Read
The James Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library has partnered with Pet Prescription, a volunteer organization with therapy dogs, in a program called Sit, Stay and Read. These dogs, of various sizes, are brought in to allow children to practice their reading skills on non-judgmental listeners. Dogs love to hear stories.
It is also a great place to expose children to animals if they have had no prior experience with dogs.
The program will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018, starting at 3:30 p.m.
