Save & Share Your Photos Program

An individual, family and community’s cultural heritage can be found in libraries and museums, but it can also be found in the home where precious photographs are displayed, stored and cherished. The Heritage Room would like to provide the community with the opportunity to digitally preserve and share their cultural heritage and memories with the world. We want to encourage the community to bring photographs, slides and negativeCorona Events Save and Shares to the library for our Save & Share Your Photos program started on April 23th.

Schedule an appointment with a Heritage Room staff member to have your images scanned and saved for free. Bring to the appointment the 10 photos, slides or negatives you’ve selected and a flash drive or CD. Your items will be handled with care, staff will help you gather information about the items and use high quality digital scanners to scan the images. All items will be returned at the end of the appointment. Participants will also receive a copy of the scans on the digital storage device that they provide. With your permission, scanned images related to the Corona area will be made accessible online through Corona Heritage Online.

The Corona Public Library is located at 650 S Main St., in Corona.
