Read to a Dog

Calling all K-6th graders! Don’t like reading out loud? Join us on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 3:30 p.m. in the High Desert Room of the Corona Public Library (650 South Main St.). You can read stories to a great listener;  the therapy dogs from community partner Paws of Love. This month join us on April 22nd.

Man’s best friend can do a lot more than fetch and roll over. Research now suggests that dogs can actually help children with their reading. Specially-trained “Paws Of Love” therapy dogs, accompanied by their handlers, conduct a reading program; Come, Sit, Stay, Read and the kids clearly love it!
