Star Wars Day at the Corona Public Library

Calling all Star Wars fans! The Corona Public Library is hosting Star Wars Day on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Experience the power of the force!

Enjoy light saber demonstration shows at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Meet and mingle with your favorite Star Wars characters, take part in the Jedi Training Activity Center, and have your pictures taken, too! Tickets will be required for the light saber demonstrations, guests can pick these up for free 30 minutes before the presentation. They will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

In addition to photo ops, make a Star Wars craft, take a chance with an opportunity drawing for Star Wars swag, or really feel the power of the force and dress up in full Star Wars garb! Be part of the Star Wars Costume Contest! Prizes will be awarded in five age groups: 0 – Pre-Kinder; Kinder – 3rd grade, 4th – 6th grade, 7th – 8th grade, 9th – 12th grade. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The contest will begin at 11:30 a.m. This event is free to attend. All proceeds will go to support the Library & Recreation Services On the Go outreach program.
