Peppermint Ridge’s Run the River for The Ridge

Join Peppermint Ridge Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Hidden Valley Nature Center in Riverside, CA, as we create awareness and make a difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Run the River for The Ridge is the final leg of the “Charity Challenge.”

To complete the challenge, you can choose between the 5K and Half Marathon. Your support will assist our mission by providing a community of loving homes and empowering support services for adults, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Participants run along a paved path adjacent to the Santa Ana River. This course is low to medium difficulty, perfect for first timers! The overall male and female finisher in the Half Marathon and 5K receive a special gift. Registration opens are 6:30 a.m. with races starting 7:30 a.m.-8:00 a.mCorona Events on September 15, 2018.

Participant medals are awarded to every finisher in all races. In the Half Marathon and 5K, placement medals will be awarded to the top three male and female in each age division. All 5K and Half Marathon participants receive a Sport-Tek shirt and back pack.
