Operation Gratitude Candy Buy Back
Starting the week of November 5th and through Friday November 9th, Dr. R. James Richardson II Pediatric Dentistry, (located at 910 S. Washburn Ave. Ste B. Corona), will be hosting a Candy Buy Back benefiting Operation Gratitude. On November 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., there will be an Open House and Craft Night. The fun activities included, your child can participate in writing a letter and heartfelt personal message to a soldier! Also, free refreshments, snacks, contests and a $100 gift card raffle will take place during the evening.
Throughout the week during regular patient hours you can bring your left over, unopened Halloween candy and make a soldier’s day! At the same time, you can be saving your children from possible cavities and yourself from an unnecessary added expense. For every 1 pound of unopened candy, your child will receive 4 tokens to their toy towers.
Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that sends care packages & letters of support to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Marines deployed in harm’s way, to their children left behind, and to First Responders, Veterans, New Recruits, Military Families, Wounded Heroes and their caregivers. Operation Gratitude plans to assemble and ship 200,000+ care packages over the next 12 months. Each package contains product (including candy) valued at $45-100 and costs us $15 to assemble and ship.
