Genealogy Society Meeting and Ice Cream Social
Our Genealogy Society meetings are open and free to the general public and we have some exciting programs scheduled for the upcoming months. Come and join us at the Corona Public Library’s Community Room, (650 S. Main St., at 6th), on October 2nd!
We gather at 6:00 p.m. for networking and to set up the room. The business portion of the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and, after a short recess, the program begins between 7:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.. We adjourn between 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
This month’s program is about “Who is Joe Ovalle? A Case Study”, by Jean Hibben. Jean will take the audience thru the steps from a death certificate of a person whose name is an alias, working through records to determine who the person was.
The Corona Genealogy Society has workshops and meetings every Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Corona Public Library. The first Monday of the month is the general meeting at 7:00 p.m. with a speaker.
