Youth Scholarship Programs

The City is seeking applications for its 2018 Youth and Summer Day Camp Scholarship Programs. Summer Day Camp Scholarships are available to children ages 6 to 12 and cover the total cost of the 9-week summer program. Youth Scholarships are open to children 17 years and under, and are designed to provide up to two summer recreation classes per child (maximum of $500/family). The sChino Hills Events Scholarships program helps economically-disadvantaged youth participate in the City’s youth programs.

Scholarship funding is provided by the Chino Hills Community Foundation, which was formed in 2008 to support cultural, educational, and recreational projects in Chino Hills.

Scholarships are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, based on funding availability and participant income eligibility.

Applications will be accepted from February 5th to April 2nd. Applications are available at the Recreation Office at Chino Hills City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive; the Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive; or, online at All applications must be submitted in person, along with the required documentation, to the Community Services Counter at Chino Hills City Hall, 2nd Floor, 14000 City Center Drive. Applications should be marked “Summer Day Camp Scholarship Program” or “Youth Scholarship Program.”
