Veteran Service Event
San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Chairman Curt Hagman announced a special Veteran Service Event to be held in his Fourth District Office located at 14010 City Center Dr., Chino Hills on Thursday, November 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“Our military veterans devoted their lives to protecting our families and preserving our freedoms,” said Hagman. “We hope that this event will assist them with getting the benefits that they deserve. My team will help every veteran on a case-by-case basis, and I will bring all the resources of county government to bear on their behalf. There is no higher priority in my office.”
San Bernardino County Veterans Service Officers will be present to assist every veteran who attends. Supervisor Hagman is working with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Vietnam Veterans of America and other veterans’ groups to ensure veterans hear about this opportunity. Some of the services offered during the event will include finding answers to questions regarding existing claims, conducting benefit assessment interviews, filing compensation claims and issuing San Bernardino County Veteran I.D. cards.
All services will be provided free of charge and on a first come, first serve basis. Veterans are requested to bring their DD Form 214 and photo identification.
