CERT Basic Training

Are you prepared in the event of an emergency or major disaster? Learn how you can better prepare yourself, your family, and your neighborhood with CERT Basic Training!

Following a major disaster, police, fire and medical professionals may not be able to fully meet the demand. People will have to rely on each other to meet the immediate life saving and life sustaining needs, particularly in isolated neighborhoods that may be cut off from the main roads for a period of time.

The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District will be hosting Community Emergency Response Team (Rancho Cucamonga Events on September 22, 2017-page-001CERT RT) Training from September 22-24th. This 20 hour basic training course is FREE to the community and will provide training on disaster preparedness, light fire suppression, basic medical aid, light search and rescue, and team operations. It will be held at, located at 11200 Base Line Road, in Rancho Cucamonga.

Schedule:

  • Friday, September 22nd: 6:00 pm-9:00 pm
  • Saturday, September 23rd: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Sunday, September 24th: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Attendees must attend the entire three days to receive a certificate of completion.
