There is no real wrong way to wear boyfriend jeans, and honestly, I find it to be flattering to any figure. What are boyfriend jeans, you may ask? Let’s describe them in four words: loose, slouchy, ripped, and tapered.
The shoes that can be worn with boyfriend jeans are sandals, pointy heels, flats, sneakers or even booties. The tops you can wear can be tank tops, leather jackets, sweaters, crop tops, peplum shirts, or blazers. The boyfriend jean is so versatile that it can be incorporated into different styles and still flatter any fashionista.
Allow me to share some fun ways on how to style those cool boyfriend jeans. I purchased some boyfriend jeans thanks to a sale on Cyber Monday from Hollister. Got 2 pairs for $40; what a bargain, right?!
I am wearing a blue sweater from Out of My Kloset boutique, a denim-leather-pink Dooney & Bourke handbag, with nude booties. This is a perfect blend of true comfort and warmth.
Let’s shakes things up a bit by adding tan platform sandals from Forever 21 that I purchased for $2.00 at Salvation Army, favorite vintage leather jacket, plain white tank top, and my favorite Wayuu blue handbag.
You want to add the “Dress for Success” factor to those rebellious boyfriend jeans. I added a hot pink blazer that I purchased from Out of My Kloset Boutique, black pointy leather heels from Shoedazzle, striped top, and my fav… my vintage Dooney & Bourke handbag.
Share and leave a comment on how you would wear boyfriend jeans! Would you dress them up or down?
